  Type 1 Diagnosis Survey

The survey is closed (July 30, 2000)

July 18, 2000

Dear Parents and Kids,

I am the parent of a Type 1 diabetic who was misdiagnosed for several months with other diseases (i.e., sinus infections, allergic reactions, etc.) before she was correctly diagnosed with insulin-dependent diabetes. I am also a college student. As part of my graduation requirements, I am required to complete a research project. My project is regarding Type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetes and any possible misdiagnosis and myths surrounding the disease.

Type 1 diabetic adults and/or parents of children with Type 1 diabetes are invited to answer this survey. If not stated, all questions relate to Type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes.

Thank you in advance. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Mary Dorsch
