Joslin Low Blood Sugar Feedback

Behavioral specialists at the Joslin Diabetes Center and the University of Virginia are developing a program to help parents understand how to manage their child with diabetes when their child becomes uncooperative, perhaps even resistant to help, because of a low blood sugar. We thought we should ask the experts - parents of children with diabetes - about what clever and constructive strategies you have developed to deal with these difficult situations? In particular, we are interested in strategies that persuaded your child to be more cooperative during those low blood sugar episodes and ideas that could be shared with other parents who have children with diabetes from ages 6 to 11. Thanks for your help.
